We are pleased to announce that the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge will be offering free guided wildlife tours through the refuge on Friday and Saturday, October 3 - 4, 2008. These tours will be approximately 1 - 1 1/2 hours long and will take visitors on historic tours through the "special use areas" of the refuge where they will see areas of the refuge that are restricted to public use where wildlife is abundant.

Space is limited so reservations are strongly encouraged. If you would like to make a reservation, please click on the link below and indicate the names and number of persons in your party.

Tour buses will depart at the following times from the Bus pick-up/drop-off in downtown Medicine Park.

4 pm and 5 pm

Saturday, October 4, 2008
Every hour on the hour starting at 1 pm with the last tour departing at 6 pm.
